Security Pacific completed its Arizona deal.

The Los Angeles bank holding company said its $480-million acquisition of Arizona Bancwest, announced in August, 1985, was completed last week. Arizona Bancwest, with assets of more than $4 billion, is the parent company of Arizona Bank, the state’s third-largest bank with 101 branches. The interstate deal was allowed under Arizona legislation that took effect Oct. 1.
