Clipper center Benoit Benjamin missed practice because of the flu. A club official said that Benjamin became nauseated and was vomiting after he ate Chinese food Monday night.
Benjamin is expected back today.
Meanwhile, the Clippers are reportedly trying to trade point guard Darnell Valentine to the New York Knicks. The Clippers matched Valentine’s three-year offer sheet from the New Jersey Nets, but Valentine’s agent said that Valentine doesn’t want to play for the Clippers again.
