Ramona Man Dies After Plant Accident

A 38-year-old Ramona man died Saturday in Scripps Memorial Hospital after an industrial accident at a PSA engine maintenance facility on Consolidated Way off Miramar Road.
Deputy Coroner David Lodge said Gerald Witherow died at the hospital more than two hours after the accident occurred about 1:20 p.m. in the airline’s maintenance building.
