Uprooting Exposition Park’s Rose Garden
There are times during a stressful day that just the thought of the rose garden being there gives me a feeling of serenity.
To have this parking facility construction already scheduled without prior consideration of public opinion, makes me feel very distrusting of the commission’s so-called replanting goal. I am very frustrated by the bureaucrats who have concrete on their minds.
I feel the American Rose Society, along with other horticultural experts should have been consulted to oversee the project from its inception.
I, a resident of Los Angeles, am appalled by the way this city chooses to honor our national flower . Please reconsider carefully the possibility of tearing up what is indeed, a national treasure.
