All American Gourmet Co. said net income for its fiscal 1987 third quarter ended Nov. 2 was a record $2 million, up 43% from $1.4 million reported for the corresponding period a year earlier.
The Orange-based frozen food company said sales for the quarter were $57.9 million, compared with year-earlier sales of $27.7 million.
All American attributed the improvements to higher sales and greater production at its recently completed plant in Clearfield, Utah.
For the nine months, the company reported net income of $3.8 million, up 20% from $3.25 million a year earlier. Sales of $127.7 million were double the $63.8 million reported a year earlier.
Net earnings for the first nine months of All American’s fiscal 1986 included a $634,000 tax credit.
All American is 75% owned by General Host Corp. of Stamford, Conn.
