Local News in Brief : Bits of Burbank Buried to Cap 75th Birthday

Burbank Mayor Mary E. Kelsey on Tuesday commemorated the 75th anniversary of her city by burying a time capsule in the steps in front of City Hall.
The capsule contains 34 articles depicting Burbank in 1986 and is to be opened in 25 years by city officials.
Inside the capsule are city documents, yearbooks from Luther Burbank High School and Jordan Junior High School, an anniversary photo of city officials, a message from Kelsey and other photographs depicting contemporary life in Burbank.
