Warmington-Semler Partners has completed purchase of a 265-acre site on the north side of the Ventura (101) Freeway at Pacific Coast Highway, Oxnard, for its $500-million Oxnard Town Center project. Terms of the sale were not disclosed.
Construction on off-site improvements is expected to begin next spring, and the first buildings are due to be completed by the second quarter of 1988.
The first phase will have two hotels, two restaurants, a mid-rise office building, garden-office building and four research and development/light manufacturing buildings.
When completed, the center will have 4.4 million square feet of buildings, including garden and high-rise offices, research-and-development facilities, hotels, restaurants and a 1-million-square-foot regional shopping center.
