Right Con overtook favored Barbery in the stretch to win the $54,350 The Bart Handicap on a wet track at Bay Meadows.
Ridden by Russell Baze and making his first start for new trainer Charlie Comiskey, Right Con blazed past Barbery in the upper stretch and sloshed away for a two-length victory.
Right Con covered the mile in 1:37 2/5. He paid $9.20 to win.
