Testing unarmed cruise missiles over northwestern Canada will be resumed this week, U.S. military officials announced. Environmentalist and peace groups said they will try to disrupt the tests, and small groups of protesters began assembling to plot strategy. Canada suspended testing a year ago after two cruise missiles crashed on Canadian soil. A U.S. Air Force spokesman said that problems with earlier tests have been corrected, and the Canadian government agreed to allow a test Tuesday. The Air Force hopes to test a second missile soon afterward.
