$1.25 MILLION PLEDGED TO PRINCETON ARTS

PRINCETON, N.J. — Princeton University says it has received a commitment of $1.25 million from Louisa Stude Sarofim and Fayez Shalaby Sarofim of Houston, Tex., and from The Brown Foundation, also of Houston.
It says the funds will be used to endow a professorship in American art.
