San/Bar Corp. to Build Communication System

San/Bar Corp. said it has been awarded a $1.1-million contract by the Maricopa County, Ariz., Community College District. Under the contract, San/Bar will design, build and install a digital microwave communication system connecting nine locations.
The company said work on the project will begin immediately and be completed this year. San/Bar, based in Irvine, is a supplier of telephone equipment and digital microwave radio systems and manufactures an all-purpose lubricant.
