Abbey Named to Head Burbank School Board

William S. Abbey, who last month won reelection to the Burbank school board, Wednesday was named the board’s president.
Abbey, a deputy state attorney general, replaced Claud Field, who retired from the five-member board.
The board appointed Audrey P. Hanson vice president and Charles A. Goldwasser, a new board member, clerk.
