Barnes, O’Brien Cooper Win Team Roping Title

Jake Barnes and Clay O’Brien Cooper won the team roping competition in a record time of 5.0 seconds inthe $30,000 Championship Rodeo Sunday at the Forum.
Barnes and O’Brien Cooper are the 1986 champion roping team.
Steve Nilmeyer of San Marin, Calif., won the calf roping in 9.2 seconds.
