Local News in Brief : Moorpark Motorist Dies of Crash Injuries

A Moorpark man whose car was struck head-on Monday morning in Chatsworth died early Tuesday. Wayne Painter, 52, was pronounced dead at Holy Cross Hospital in Mission Hills at 2:06 a.m., a hospital spokeswoman said.
The other driver, Richard J. Dradi, 27, of Simi Valley, was listed in serious but stable condition at Northridge Hospital Medical Center, a hospital spokeswoman said.
Dradi was northbound, approaching on Topanga Canyon Boulevard at Santa Susana Pass Road when he swerved and struck Painter’s car and another car, police said.
Police said they will seek felony charges against Dradi.
