Free Parking

I want to call your attention to a new policy that went into effect July 1 at the UCLA campus. All disabled persons showing a disabled persons placard are now allowed to park free while conducting business or visiting the campus.
I know of no other major academic institution that does this, and indeed it could well be a model for the country. As a holder of such a placard, I am grateful to the sensitivity shown by UCLA and to all those in similar need.
