Two newcomers and an incumbent will vie for two seats on the La Canada Unified School District Governing Board this fall.
Board President Carole C. Siegler, 45, has filed her application to run for a third term in the Nov. 3 election. The other candidates are Joyce Brace, a 57-year-old librarian with the Glendale Unified School District, and Richard Galaty, a 41-year-old senior vice president of Union Bank in Los Angeles.
Not running for reelection is Larry Knudsen, whose term expires Nov. 30. Knudsen, a 51-year-old education consultant, was elected along with Siegler in 1983.
Board members are elected at large to four-year terms.
