Yorba Linda : Group Meets to Set Up Solidarity California

Polish-American delegates from around the state will hold a convention this weekend to establish Solidarity (Solidarnosc) California. The group will elect officers, approve a constitution and create a program of activities.
Michael Dutkowski, vice president of the group, said the convention would take place today at the Pope John Paul II Polish Center at 3999 Rose Drive.
The group will hold a celebration at 11:30 a.m. Sunday at the center in honor of the seventh anniversary of Solidarity, the trade union federation in Poland.
