The Chicago Cubs were declared 8-6 winners of the second game of a doubleheader Thursday against the Atlanta Braves. The game, played at Wrigley Field, had been suspended because of darkness in the top of the eighth inning.
The National League decided that since neither team is a contender, the game would not be resumed at a future date.
