Public Broadcasting Boss Named

WASHINGTON — Howard D. Gutin, who has served as acting chairman of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting’s board of directors since March, was elected chairman today. Gutin, 57, a San Antonio broadcasting consultant and former public TV broadcaster, joined the board in 1984.
