American Steve McKinney and two other skiers were injured in a helicopter crash at the La Parva resort in Chile, where they were training for speed runs. A gust of wind caught the helicopter on takeoff, and it plunged to the snow.
McKinney, who holds the fourth fastest speed on skis in the world, broke a shoulder and was hospitalized in serious condition.
