A man sought in the shooting death of a teen-age Cerritos girl is in custody, Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies said Sunday.
Arnel Manzano Sola, 18, surrendered to deputies at his attorney’s office in Van Nuys at 5:30 p.m. Saturday. Authorities declined to name the attorney or where the surrender took place.
The Van Nuys man was being held without bail at the sheriff’s Temple City jail, Deputy Bill Wehner said.
Sola, according to deputies, was one of several men suspected of being involved in the Sept. 26 drive-by shooting that killed Tina Kang, 15, who was entering a home to attend a friend’s birthday party.
