Four members of the Arizona State track team have accused Sun Devil Coach Clyde Duncan of numerous National Collegiate Athletic Assn. violations, including payments of money, illegal transportation of athletes and improper reduction of scholarship, a Phoenix newspaper reported.
The Phoenix Gazette said that senior hurdler Mark Boyd, sophomore sprinter Sean Greene, junior long jumper SanJerra Collins and junior hurdler Lynda Tolbert told the newspaper this week that Duncan also asked at least one athlete to lie to Pacific 10 Conference officials, who have been investigating the Arizona State track program since last spring.
