Embassy Suites Hotel in Santa Ana last week held a Christmas party for children with cancer in Orange County, distributing about 200 toys that were donated by the Santa Ana Police Department, the Irvine and Fullerton fire departments and the Sandpipers, a volunteer group associated with Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian.
The Embassy Suites Hotels in Buena Park and Anaheim are planning a similar party for about 150 children on Tuesday. The hotels are collecting new toys in barrels placed in their lobbies.
