Preserving L.A.
As a native Californian growing up in Los Angeles, I have watched the city grow and change. But I also feel there should be some historical foundation, no matter what form it takes. Los Angeles is really a young city and should be preserved in many different ways.
When you visit New York, Boston or any great city, you know that the same buildings will still be there year after year to enjoy. I am afraid if I go out of town for a few weeks an old important structure will have been replaced with a new modern meaningless one. Let’s leave a few special ones for future generations to admire and remember. I wish they had for me.
