A Glen Avon man accused of murdering his girlfriend’s 3-year-old boy, then abandoning his body in a citrus grove, was ordered to stand trial for murder by a Riverside Superior Court judge who said circumstantial evidence “paints a very tight picture.” Raymond Eugene Ferrell, 29, who pleaded innocent to murder charges, remains in custody at Riverside County Jail. Ferrell was baby-sitting Bobby Crawford, his girlfriend’s child, when the boy disappeared.
