Boys’ Basketball : Beale’s 23 Lead Falcons to Win

Forward Brett Beale scored 23 points to lead Santa Ana Valley High School’s boys’ basketball team to a 62-52 nonleague victory at Estancia Thursday night.
The Falcons (7-6) led by 22-11 after the first quarter and 34-25 at halftime. Guard Roshawn Lacy added 13 points and Jason Vaughn scored 11 points and had 9 rebounds for Santa Ana Valley.
Junior forward Mike Curtis led Estancia (11-6) with 17 points and 8 rebounds. Guard Osmin Campos added nine points.
Campos made one of two technical foul shots in the fourth quarter when Santa Ana Valley Coach Jeff Bishop was called for being on the court.
