Newport Beach’s Thebus Reaches Tennis Final

Keri Thebus of Newport Beach, the top seed in her division, advanced to the girls’ 16-and-under singles final of the third annual Los Caballeros Junior Tennis Championships, defeating Jenny Marques of Laguna Hills Saturday, 6-0, 6-1.
The final of the junior open tournament, held at the Los Caballeros Sports Village in Fountain Valley, will begin today at 9 a.m.
