Charles Barkley was fined $3,000 by the Philadelphia 76ers for an outburst criticizing teammates and an incident with a front-row fan in Boston.
Barkley said, “I realize I deserve it,” but added that he plans to appeal the fine.
“I’m guaranteed free speech under the First Amendment,” Barkley said. “They did what they had to do. I’m going to do what I have to do. That’s fair, isn’t it? I’m going to take them to court.”
