Your article about the Los Angeles County Museum of Natural History buying a house for one of the museum’s officials (Metro, Dec. 29) confirms the impression I got when I visited the museum recently and discovered that the former public parking lot off Olympic Boulevard, conveniently located behind the museum, had been converted to a staff-only lot, forcing visitors to leave their cars on the street or in the public lot on the other side of the park. Someone down there doesn’t have his priorities straight.
