Hotel to Open in Koreatown

Completion of the $5-million Olympic Plaza Hotel, a five-story, 67-room structure that will be the tallest building in Koreatown, is expected next month
The hotel, on the northwest corner of Olympic Boulevard and Gramercy Drive, also includes banquet rooms, a restaurant and two-level subterranean parking structure.
Rooms are expected to rent for about $100 a night, according to Newport Beach-based Paul Ikpoong Kim AIA & Associates, the hotel’s architect. Gardena-based Rotex Development Co. is developer.
