Fresno State Picked for Softball Title

Fresno State, which finished fifth at the softball College World Series last season, was picked to win the Pacific Coast Athletic Assn. title this season in a vote of the coaches.
Fresno State, which received eight first-place votes, tied for the conference title with Fullerton last season. Fullerton, which finished third at the World Series last season, received the other two first-place votes and was picked second.
