20 Drown in Kenya Lake

NAIROBI, Kenya — Twenty Kenyans, most of them women, drowned in Lake Victoria when an overcrowded canoe carrying them home from market capsized, the official Kenya News Agency reported Thursday. The canoe was carrying 33 people, 13 above the registered limit of 20, when a heavy swell turned it over Wednesday.
