96 Arrested in Mafia Sweep

PALERMO, Sicily — A nationwide sweep of Mafia suspects has led to 96 arrests, authorities said Thursday. More than 1,000 members of various agencies were trying to execute 160 arrest warrants for suspects in cities from Palermo in Sicily to Milan in northern Italy, authorities said.
