As someone who has been keenly interested in this case since 1984, I appreciated the fact that this piece finally got to the deeper issues behind the headlines. As a woman in the Catholic Church, I share the pain of all women who yearn, pray and hope for dialogue among all members of the church who individually hold pieces of the truth which constitute the collective treasure.
