BEIRUT — Three Lebanese soldiers were wounded Sunday when unidentified gunmen fired at their barracks in apparent retaliation for the killing of two Christian militia officers, security officials said.
They said the soldiers were taken to a hospital after the gunmen fired into their barracks in the coastal town of Halat, a Christian-held area 27 miles north of Beirut.
