Brown-Gold Game to Be Played Friday

LONG BEACH — The annual Cal State Long Beach intrasquad Brown-Gold football game will start at 7 p.m. Friday at Veterans Stadium.
The game will conclude spring practice for Coach Larry Reisbig’s 49ers, who were 4-7 last season.
Top players include quarterback Jeff Graham, who threw for 2,427 yards and nine touchdowns in 1987; linebacker Phillip Morrison, who made the Pacific Coast Athletic Assn. second team, and wide receiver Derek Washington and cornerback Stacey Alexander, who won PCAA honorable mention honors.
Admission is $1.
