Man’s Body Found in San Juan Capistrano

Authorities Saturday were trying to determine the cause of death of a man whose body was found near Rancho Viejo Road in San Juan Capistrano.
The man, whose name was withheld until his family could be notified, was described by Orange County Sheriff’s Lt. Jay Mendez as a black male.
The body was first seen at about 9 a.m. Friday beside the road north of Spotted Bull Lane by a woman who thought he was asleep, Mendez said.
When the woman’s husband returned home about 4:30 p.m. she told him about the man. He went to the site and found the body, Mendez said.
