In another South Coast Conference game:

Fullerton 8, Cerritos 4--Rod Klopfer hit two home runs and a double and had three RBIs and Deryk Hudson had three hits, scored two runs and had an RBI for visiting Fullerton (24-6-1, 7-3). Mark Keifer (8-0) pitched the first 6 for the victory.

In the Orange Empire Conference:

Cypress 8, Citrus 0--Benny Gonzales pitched a one-hitter to lead host Cypress (7-2, (8-0). Gonzales struck out eight and walked three. Tim Churchill extended his school-record hitting streak to 30 games with an RBI single in the fourth for Cypress.

Rancho Santiago 15, Riverside 6--Todd Lloyd had four hits, including a home run and four RBIs, to lead host Rancho Santiago (25-5, 7-2). Kraig Washington also hit a home run and Willie Navarratte (6-0) pitched seven innings for the victory.

Orange Coast 12, Saddleback 4--Darrel Connor had two home runs for visiting Orange Coast.
