Black & Decker Corp.’s earnings rose 126% to $21.1 million for its second quarter, compared to $9.3 million in the same period last year. The Towson, Md.-based maker of power tools and household products attributed the dramatic gain to improved sales worldwide in nearly every category in its major markets.
