In response to “Judge Clears Way for Alien Boy, 5, to Get a New Liver” (Metro, April 9):
Also on the day of this article were two news items citing lack of beds and funds for medically needy citizens of Los Angeles County. What an appalling paradox.
Only in America does charity not begin at home.
