An unidentified buyer bid $10.12 million for “Little Dancer of 14 Years,” a Degas bronze during a Sotheby’s auction Tuesday, setting a new world record for a sculpture’s price. The pre-sale evaluation: $4.5 million. The day’s sale of 55 artworks for $94.4 million also set a new record.
