A transient was charged Monday with murdering an 18-year-old rock musician and then stuffing his body into a ventilator shaft at Hollywood High School. Melvin Hemphill, 22, was also charged with sexually assaulting a 14-year-old boy on the campus.
Prosecutors said Hemphill sexually assaulted Robbie Campo of New York and then beat him to death May 2.
