Pedroza Knocks Out Angulo in Fifth Round

LAS VEGAS — Undefeated Engels Pedroza, 142, of Long Beach knocked out Felipe Angulo, 138 1/2, of Miami at 1:47 of the fifth round Saturday night in a scheduled 10-round junior-welterweight bout at the Showboat Hotel.
Pedroza (19-0 with 19 knockouts) is ranked No. 6 by the World Boxing Assn. and No. 7 by the International Boxing Federation.
