In three nights, a San Fernando Valley police task force arrested more than 100 drivers on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, a Los Angeles police spokesman said Sunday.
From Thursday through Saturday, the Immediate Booking and Release System was used to pull over drivers in the Canoga Park area. Officers used buses to hold drivers until their families or friends arrived to take them home.
On Thursday, they arrested 35 suspects; Friday, 40, and Saturday, 37.
