92% of Kindergartners Pass Test for First Grade

ATLANTA — Results of a first-grade readiness test given to 90,434 Georgia kindergartners last month show that 92% passed, education officials said Friday. This year, for the first time, passing the test is generally a prerequisite for entering first grade.
