McLachlan Investment Co. of Newport Beach bought the Milne Trucking Terminal in Anaheim for $2.1 million from Milne Truck Lines Inc. Industrial Freight Systems Inc. now occupies the building, according to Grubb & Ellis Co., which handled the transaction. . . . Warren Fix, chief financial officer at the Irvine Co., is leaving after 24 years to pursue private investments but will remain a consultant to the company. . . . Johnson Properties Inc. of Newport Beach, in a joint venture with Fullerton Savings & Loan Assn., bought 9 acres in Corona for $2.7 million and plans to build a $10-million, 105,000-square-foot shopping center. . . . R.L.M. Equities Inc. has formed in Irvine to broker and syndicate apartments. . . . Michael Brandman & Associates of Santa Ana, an environmental research firm, won an open-ended U.S. Navy contract to assess airfield improvements at Camp Pendleton.
