Harvey to Chase World Junior Title

John Harvey, a 17-year-old cyclist from North Hollywood, will compete on the United States Cycling Federation team in the Junior World Championships in Odense, Denmark, beginning Saturday and continuing through July 17.
Harvey won the individual pursuit at the Junior World Trials last month in Kenosha, Wis., to qualify for the championships.
Harvey, who competes in the 16- to 17-year-old age group, won all three heats of the 330-meter sprint in the trials.
