Police are continuing their search for Robert Sullivan, the boyfriend of a 32-year-old nurse who was found dead of stab wounds in their apartment Wednesday afternoon.
Sgt. Bill Peterson said police also are looking for Sullivan’s car: a tan, two-door 1973 Plymouth Duster with California license plates 540 JEV.
“We think he left that car in a repair shop in the Westminster, Garden Grove or Anaheim area,” Peterson said, “and we need any person with possession or knowledge of that car to give us a call.”
Sullivan’s girlfriend, Terri Frances Craig, was found by her brother shortly after the 3:15 p.m. slaying at her home in the 15000 block of Duke Circle. Police also have not located her car, a 1977 brown Toyota Celica with California license plates 840 RSL.
According to police, Sullivan is 5 feet, 10 inches tall, 170 pounds, with brown hair, blue eyes and a mustache. Anyone with information on Sullivan or the two cars should call Huntington Beach police at the 24-hour number, (714) 960-8811, or (714) 536-5951 during business hours.
