Participant in ‘Domino’ Organ Transplants Dies

BALTIMORE — Clinton House, who survived 14 months with a donated heart and lungs he received after donating his own healthy heart in the nation’s first “domino” donor transplant, died Monday, a spokesman at Johns Hopkins Hospital said. House, 29, a refrigeration mechanic who suffered from cystic fibrosis, died of complications related to rejection, the spokesman said.
