Local News in Brief : La Canada Private School Accredited

Ribet Academy, a private school in La Canada for grades kindergarten through 12, was recently awarded accreditation from the Western Assn. of Schools and Colleges.
Accreditation was for six years, the association’s maximum accreditation period. The school had not been accredited.
Founder and headmaster Jacques Ribet, a former instructor at Hillhouse International in London, the school Prince Charles attended, began Ribet Academy in 1982 with 120 students. Today, 430 students attend the school.
